Careers Tagged

Behind the scenes, our web team have been very busy developing a fantastic new careers website and it is now ready to go!

It is called Careers Tagged, and it is a virtual information resource designed to give you easier access to information about careers, job hunting, employers, events, further education, vacancy sources… and much more.

How does it work?

With over 5000 books and online resources reviewed and added by our careers specialists, you can browse, create and store your own searches, rate items, add your own tags and comments, as well as share interesting links with your friends.

To get started, go to the box on the bottom left and click on a word that interests you. If you can’t see the one you are looking for, try exploring the alphabet just above it. This will take you to a list of websites related to that area. You can add more tags and combine them to narrow your search if there are lots of results.

If you have found something you really like and want to save for later, you can create an account (it is quick and easy – honest!), then save it, vote for it, or leave a comment to tell others what you found there.

When lots of people get using it, these comments and votes will make the site even better, as the most popular and useful websites will rise to the top of searches.

Have a look and let us know what you think!

If you have any questions or suggestions we would be very pleased to hear them, as we are keen to keep developing it and make it even better!
